TO WATCH A PERFORMANCE OF ARTISTIC SWIMMING WHICH WILL BE HELD HERE AT THE GREENBANK POOL AT
4 PM ON SEPTEMBER 14TH DURING OUR LAST HOURS BEFORE CLOSING FOR THE SEASON.
NORMAL SWIMMING WILL BE TEMPORALLY STOPPED FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES.
Artistic swimming, formerly known as Synchronised Swimming, is a strenuous and skilful sport. It is essentially athletic movements performed in water and choreographed to music. Artistic Swimmers use core strength and swimming skills to perform twists, spins, turns, figures, and acrobatics. All in time with their fellow swimmers and the music.
